Firespring Is Hiring
I mentioned earlier that one of our own here at Firespring has left the building. Which means that we’re now hiring for a newly created web developer position.
You can read the full job description here. But essentially we’re looking for someone who is solid when it comes to both pushing pixels around in Photoshop and firing up their text editor and diving into (X)HTML/CSS/JavaScript (and even PHP from time to time).
Let me know if you have any questions.

October 3, 2007 4:37pmI really like the new identity, big improvement. You might catch a little slack for using the same font Firefox does though. Seeing as how your names are so close.
I’m also debating applying for that open position.

October 4, 2007 8:37amWe were aware of the similarities to the “Firefox” name. IIRC, some of the early iterations of the logo were kind of Firefox-y, and we quickly moved away from that. As for the font, in all honesty, none of us saw that. Heh…
As for applying, that’d be very cool. I think you’d really dig the folks here. However, you’d have to become a Mac guy. How do you feel about that?

October 5, 2007 5:33pmYou think I should apply? I’m not really that adept with PHP and Javascript, most of my talent lay in design, with just enough coding skills to be dangerous.
As far as becoming a Mac guy?? I would have no problem with that whatsoever. I’m ready to make that change. :)
