How can you tell if a pop album is any good?  When you find yourself randomly humming a melody from the record and it’s been months since you actually put it in the player and listened to it.  Which means that Viva Voce‘s The Heat Can Melt Your Brain is a dang good pop album.

And ooh, it looks like the mighty Viva Voce duo are going on tour later this summer.  If you happen to drop by one of their shows, you might see something like this.

    You may already know this and this is not relevant to this post, but Sufjan is playing in Omaha on September 20, at Sokol Underground.
