Pitchfork reviews the recent Slowdive reissues: “...why should these reissues matter? I keep listening for reasons they wouldn’t sound as good as they did a decade ago, and on at least two of these records, I’m not finding any at all.“  They’re a little hard on Just For A Day, but Souvlaki and Pygmalion pass with flying colors.

    i had no idea pygmalion was going for a fortune on cd.  i always meant to purchase a cd to reduce wear on my vinyl.  now’s a good time, i guess.  there’s a good chunck of change i coulda made, though…
