Pitchfork’s Best Of 2005
Pitchfork have released all of their year-end lists: top 50 albums, top 50 singles, 15 worst releases, etc. And guess who is on the top of the pile? Our boy Sufjan! Sometimes, the world does make sense.

December 20, 2005 10:25amjason,
are you going to be putting up a list of YOUR favorite albums this year? i’ve really liked yours the past couple years and even found a handful of solid records that i myself had not heard of. just off the top of my head, i am robot and proud’s ‘grace days’ was one of the phenomenal albums i discovered thanks to your list.
so i’m hoping you’ve got one coming soon. if so, i’m looking forward to checking it out.

December 20, 2005 11:46amYeah, I’ll be posting a year-end list sometime after the new year, probably. It feels wierd to me to post a year-end list while the year in question is still going on. Never know what you might discover on the last day of December. It’ll probably be a list covering all forms of media (music, movies, books, games, etc.).
